THE PITCH CALLED LIFE

Pitch is where we play cricket-
And for success try save our wicket.
Life is too a pitch where we face barriers-
Where one has to overcome them to build careers.
Life is filled with risk,fun and fear,
Pitch is too full of twists,turn and danger.
The pitch may last for five days-
But no one knows life would last for how many days.
Life is full of ups and downs,
Like the dust bowl of Wankhede Cricket Ground.
Life too is full of fear and danger,
Like the pitch of WACA which fills every batsman with terror.
Life may be a smooth one,
Like the placid pitch of Multan.
Surprises too are a part of life,
Like the fifth day pitcfh where batsmen find difficult to thrive.
Life is a like a pitch with stiff bounce,
Like the one in Brisbane Cricket Ground.
Ultimately ones stay at the pitch comes to an end,
Likewise death signifies life's end.
